Usher, Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum all nab No. 1 radio airplay songs

Atlanta’s Usher, who is set to claim the top spot this week on the album sales chart, has the top song on the urban charts with “Daddy’s Home,” according to Mediabase 24/7, which measures radio airplay. This is Usher’s 11th No. 1 song on the R&B/hip-hop charts and second off the “Raymond Vs. Raymond” album after “Papers.” Atlanta’s Monica is at No. 3 with her comeback hit “Everything to Me.” Atlantans Ludacris, Gucci Mane and B.O.B. are also in the top 10.

Over on the country chart, North Georgia’s own Zac Brown Band nabs its fourth top two hit and third No. 1 hit with “Highway 20 Ride,” which indeed references our very own I-20 highway.

And on the Hot AC chart, Lady Antebellum (featuring two Augusta natives and UGA grads) has a huge cross-over hit with “Need You Now,” which was a past No. 1 country hit and now at No. 3 on the top 40 charts as well. Their second single off “Need You Now” “American Honey” will likely usurp the Zac Brown Band in airplay points soon.
