The “Dancing With the Stars” judges Monday were throwing out 10’s like pennies at a wishing well.

Of the 10 dances among the five remaining contestants, four received perfect scores across the board.

The weakest dancer left, Candace Cameron Bure (“Full House”), survived for next week’s final thanks to her fan base, which trumped that of Olympian ice dancer Charlie White.

White received a perfect score for his first dance Monday.

“You deserve to be in the final,” Len Goodman said, to no avail.

He won’t be.

Bure has brought charm, dancing partner Mark Ballas‘ imaginative dances and her wholesome spirit and reputation to the finals.  White, too, came across clean as a whistle but maybe too Wonder Bread for even the viewers to vote for him enough to get him through. Her average judges’ score through dance scores is 25.3.

The other three rivals are pretty darn strong, too. James Maslow, the remaining dude, has averaged a 26.5 and received his second perfect score of the competition with a cha-cha-cha.  Amy Purdy, the para-olympic snowboarder with missing legs, continues to astound. She has earned her scores without any pity points. She received two near perfect scores for her two dances Monday night.

White’s pixie-like ice-dancing partner Meryl Davis got not one but two perfect scores. Based purely on judges’ scores, she is a lock to win – and she has five-time winner Derek Hough as her partner. Her average judges’ score among the three regular judges through 12 dances is an astounding 28. But that’s not how DWTS works. It’s anybody’s call at this point among Davis, Maslow and Purdy. I think Bure should be happy she even made the finals over White.
