My colleague Armani Martin covered a Kandi Burruss event this past Thursday where she showcased some of her new musical acts. Here is what she found:

Singer-songwriter and television personality Kandi Burruss took a break from “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Thursday to talk about her online network and two new musical acts she was developing.

TGITV.com has been getting a lot of traffic, around 500,000 viewers [a month] and I know I have slacked off on music because of ‘Housewives,’ ” Kandi said at press meeting to introduce her groups Loud, a multi-cultural/multi-genre teen pop group and Glamour, a three-girl R&B group.

Kandi also mentioned plans to open a new restaurant in the Castleberry area in Atlanta. The very pregnant entrepreneur hopes to build a high-end, but affordable new southern cuisine restaurant. She closes on the building sometime next week.
