"The Real World" season 30 cast.

“The Real World” season 30 cast.

The longest running reality show – MTV’s “The Real World” – is coming to Atlanta seeking early 20 somethings on March 12.

You can come by Midtown’s Blakes on the Park at 227 10th St. NE from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Applicants should bring a recent picture of themselves (which will not be returned) and photo ID. You must be 21 years or older by June 2016, and, according to the show, “appear to be between the ages of 20 and 24.” (That means if you’re older but look younger, that’s fine.)

The once groundbreaking show debuted in 1992 – 24 years ago. That means most of the cast members were not even born when the first cast showed up on the TV screen.

“We look for characters from real life, people with strong personalities who are unafraid to speak their minds,” says Jonathan Murray, long-time executive producer of “Real World” in a press release.

Past seasons have been populated with cast members from diverse backgrounds, who have shared their daily experiences and over-the-top personalities with millions of viewers. Fans of the show will remember alumni such as Puck, the outrageous bike messenger; Cohutta; the hilarious, folksy mountain-man; Katelyn, the opinionated trans woman; Isaac, who raised naked fish tank snorkeling to an art form; Dustin, the Southern gentleman with a scandalous secret; and Nany and Adam, whose stormy romance rocked the Real World house.

“The Real World” is seeking (as any reality does) “a larger-than-life personality, a unique life story, an adventurous spirit and a personal magnetism that draws attention whenever they walk in the room.”  He also wants people who are at a turning point in their lives and about to make big decisions about their future.
