New York based CNN weekend anchor Poppy Harlow had her first baby over the weekend named Sienna.
And in one of those strange traditions, people feel obligated to release the baby’s weight and size at birth: 8.5 pounds and 19.5 inches long.
“Sinisa and I are thrilled to welcome our daughter Sienna into the world. We feel incredibly blessed and are over the moon with excitement!”
While pregnant in December, she fainted on air, a video which became viral.
TV One officially announced what I had known for weeks: “Rickey Smiley For Real” is coming back for a second season.
The ten episodes brought in 8.2 million unique viewers, the network said. The reality show has received better plaudits than the sitcom he starred in for three seasons (2012-2014) on the network.
According to the network, “the hour-long series takes a humorous look at his life as he manages his career, single fatherhood and personal life. The second season, which finds Smiley concentrating more on the three F’s – Fun, Family, and Focus – is slated to premiere Tuesday, May 10 at 8 p.m. ET.”
It teased some story lines for season two:
Viewers will follow as Smiley steps back from his Dish Nation show (he only does one or two days a week now), takes a trip to the Bahamas, tours with Mike Epps, collaborates with R&B icon Kelly Price and celebrates his 15th college fraternity anniversary.
Throughout the second season, Smiley will also do his best to keep his kids on the right track. He is concerned with how his success may be affecting his family, particularly the boys. Brandon, Malik and Craig each challenge Smiley as they attempt to find themselves, landing in a variety of behavioral, disciplinary and legal issues. And as always, he keeps a close eye on daughters D’Essence and Aaryn as they face their own growing pains.
CBS’s “Rush Hour,” which features Clark-Atlanta University grad Justin Hires in Chris Tucker‘s role, opened soft, with 5.1 million viewers after some terrible reviews. The second episode fell to 4.8 million. For NBC or Fox, this might be okay numbers but for CBS not so good. Its future is not bright.
