Kate McKinnon channeled her inner Forrest Gump playing Attorney General Jeff Sessions holding a box of chocolates on “Saturday Night Live” last night.

She sat on the famous Savannah bench telling her story to random folks waiting for the bus just like in the film.

“Being in the government is so fun,” drawled  McKinnon’s Gump/Sessions, using a mix of Sessions’ actual Alabama accent and Tom Hanks’ Gump. “You meet so many nice people. Like this, this is my best good friend Kellyanne. She ain’t got no legs.” He showed a photo of Kellyanne Conway kneeling on an Oval Office couch that made it appear as if she really had no legs like Officer Dan in the movie.

He then turned off Leslie Jones’ character while offering chocolates, saying, “I always say life is like a box of chocolates. Sure are a lot of brown ones in there!”

Sessions/Gump said after news came out about him meeting up with the Russian ambassador last Wednesday night, his attorney recommended this: “Run Jeffrey Run!”

After denying that he had met with any Russians to one person, he later explained to another person that he did actually confer with ambassador Sergey Kislyak. “Now I remember any name with gay kissing in it!”

Then he said he was the only one who spoke with Russians, then starts listing a bunch of other Trump connected folks who had talked to the Russians as well. He denies having any real ties to the Russians, then Vladamir Putin pops in and says, “This meeting never happened.”

Then celebrity host Octavia Spencer saunters to the bench as Minnie “from another movie” to offer Sessions a pie. That movie is “The Help,” based on the book writtein by Atlantan Kathryn Stockett. That pie? Well, anyone who saw the movie knows what was mixed in there
