Bravo’s three Atlanta reality shows coming back: ‘RHOA,’ ‘Married to Medicine,’ ‘Don’t Be Tardy’

All three Atlanta-based Bravo reality shows were given new seasons today.

Of course, Bravo’s most popular show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is guaranteed a 10th season. That is a surprise to no one.

Its ratings have held up surprisingly well for such a long-running show. Last year, RHOA averaged 3.8 million viewers counting DVR usage for up to a week. Based on the overnight ratings I’ve seen (which only provides part of the picture), RHOA this year has continued pulling in solid numbers, which is also why the network gave it a record four reunion episodes.

“Married to Medicine” saw its ratings rise from 1.4 million in 2015 to 1.8 million in 2016 though overnight ratings fell off significantly when the show as moved to Friday nights earlier this year. Nonetheless, Bravo has enough faith in the show to give it a fifth season.

Bravo’s longest-running “Housewives” spinoff show is Kim Zolciak’s “Don’t Be Tardy.” It’s currently in production for its sixth season. Zolciak has also committed to doing a part-time gig returning to “Housewives” season 10, TMZ has reported. (Bravo has not confirmed this.). The show’s ratings were consistent in 2015 and 2016, averaging between 1.4 million and 1.5 million viewers.
