Next month, Lifetime is airing its seventh edition of “Project Runway All Stars” with three Altanta residents on the cast of 16. It’s also the first time they are mixing newbie “All Star” participants with veteran “All Star” designers.

The official launch date hasn’t been officially released yet.

Alyssa Milano, Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman return as judges.  Zanna Roberts Rassi returns as the designers’ mentor.

Three designers are from Atlanta:

The entire cast list is here and includes the second, fourth and fifth place finishers from season 14 along with Newton.

Of course, “All Stars” isn’t the same as the original because of the familiarity with the contestants and no Tim Gunn or Heidi Klum. But challenges and structure are similar.
