Pres. Trump calls CNN’s Don Lemon the ‘dumbest man on television!’

Pres. Donald Trump, displeased by a New York Times story that said he would “hate watch” CNN’s Don Lemon at night to get worked up, Tweeted that Lemon is “dumbest man on television!”
This standard-issue insult provided Atlanta-based CNN with an opportunity to release its own snippy response: “In a world where bullies torment kids on social media to devastating effect on a regular basis with insults and name calling, it is sad to see our president engaging in the very same behavior himself. Leaders should lead by example.”
Lemon, whose show airs at 10 p.m. on CNN, has not responded himself. He joined CNN in 2006 and was a long-time anchor in Atlanta before moving to New York in 2013 at the behest of president Jeff Zucker. Lemon’s prominence has only risen since he came to New York.
Another false story, this time in the Failing @nytimes, that I watch 4-8 hours of television a day – Wrong! Also, I seldom, if ever, watch CNN or MSNBC, both of which I consider Fake News. I never watch Don Lemon, who I once called the “dumbest man on television!” Bad Reporting.

Trump also denied watching cable news for four to eight hours a day,as the Times reported in its story, and has continued his frequent tirade against the mainstream press.

Really listen to trump compared to Don Lemon. trump can't even pronounce names of people or can't pronounce words, and sounds like a idiot when he speaks, sounding like a 4th grader. Don Lemon host a talk show and doesn't sound dumb to me.
Trump routinely attacks the courts, the media, the electoral process, the intelligence community, the IRS, the United Nations, foreign allies, international accords, federal workers, political parties, the Justice Department, Democratic and Republican lawmakers, previous presidents, the pope. That’s the strategy of a dictator: Don’t believe the courts or the justice system or the electoral process or the legislature or the media or my accusers. Believe me.
Don Lemon is really dumb. Think I have to side with Trump on this one. And has CNN ever watched the bullying Lemon tries on Trump. Maybe their anchors should set examples to children as well.
@lowlow Fox is legally registered as "entertainment" and the people they have on there are "entertainers" and therefore not subject to journalistic standards. Fox has two actual journalists: Shep Smith and Wallace. Smith called out Hannity for that outrageous BS Hannity was spouting about "Uranium One" and Hannity quit with that stupid lie.
Your comment is replete with inaccuracies. Please provide a source for your claim that Fox NEWS is registered as entertainment. And there are plenty of other journalists there as you well know.
Name me one journalist who works at Faux News. Roger Ailes was famous for his morning meetings where he set the agenda for Faux, ran thru all the day's talking points, and told everyone the story he wanted sold that day.
It still goes on today. Only the names have changed.
And where is your substantiation? Oh yeah, you're a Republican, so the facts never matter. Come back when you have something useful to contribute.
However fox has never won an actual journalism award because they are not journalists. There are two kinds of republicans. Rich ones, who make fun of their sucker base. And suckers, who all watch the fox entertainment network for their “news”. Hint. Rich ones don’t troll the ajc and Facebook. Which are you?
It's well known that 45 hate watches Don while indulging in a bucket of his own KFC. This is just another lie in 45's bag of tricks including Russian collusion, misogynistic/groping encounters and now this sad bit of news. A sitting US 'president' calling out a basic cable news evening anchor only draws more attention to the anchor. It's honestly a fact that Don is a gifted, intelligent anchor who is on a quest to reveal the truth each night. The problem is that this so-called 'president' cannot handle the truth. Anyone who takes what this 'president' says seriously is quite naive.

@NorthAtlanta Trump goes after all of our democratic institutions, one by one, in his effort to destroy anyone or anything that challenges his credibility. "Fake news". "So called judges". "Incompetent intelligence agencies". "FBI reputation in tatters". His own people in the DOJ and the State Department.
Trump is borrowing tactics from the world’s dictators and despots. His deliberate campaign to blur the line between fact and falsehood are nothing new to the world of despots.

What makes you think he's really a billionaire? He's in debt up to his ears to Russian oligarchs, Deutsche Bank, and the Bank of Cyprus. No U.S. banks have lent him money since the 1990s because he's such a deadbeat. All of his money comes from sketchy sources, and he may in fact be living on credit from his buddy Putin. Gonna be an interesting day when his tax returns finally leak out.
