Hankering to jump into ABC’s venerable unscripted series “Shark Tank”?
There’s an open call this Sunday at Comcast Central Division Headquarters at the Battery by Suntrust Park. You can pick up wristbands at noon and interviews begin at around noon, earlier if the crowds are especially large. People are not allowed to camp out overnight at the Battery but you can start waiting in line at 5 a.m.
The first 500 entrepreneurs at the casting call Sunday are guaranteed to be seen and can pitch their ideas or products before “Shark Tank” casting team. For further casting call information and to fill out an application, please visit www.PitchSharkTank.com
Comcast Business will provide those waiting free Wi-Fi, charging stations for wireless devices, and a lounge area where attendees can network with other local entrepreneurs.
The show debuted in 2009 and has been a steady performer for ABC the past nine years, helping hundreds of entrepreneurs and turning “sharks” such as Daymond John, Barbara Corcoran, Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec into household names. CNBC regularly airs repeats as well.
FYI: None of the on-air cast members will be there Sunday if you are merely seeking an autograph or photo. This is for folks seriously wanting to team up with one of the Sharks with a real product or idea.
