Bravo is about to conclude the most successful season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” yet and the first reunion show pulled in a solid 4.1 million viewers this past Sunday.
Surprisingly, the show didn’t hit a record despite all the hype about the Porsha Williams/Kenya Moore fight. Its best performance happened earlier in the season when an episode drew 4.7 million viewers.
Now gossip sites are speculating about who will return next season. Given how successful this crew has been the past two years, Bravo would be disinclined, I’d fathom, to get rid of anybody. Bravo itself doesn’t talk about [More]

NeNe Leakes danced a hot salsa and survived week six, guaranteeing her a spot in the top 7.
Actor and “Price is Right” host Drew Carey, on the other hand, didn’t make the cut. Despite spirited performances over the weeks, he had the lowest score Monday night. He was the only one who got a 7 from Len Goodman.
Every other score was at least an 8. Leakes nabbed three 8s and a generous 9 from guest judge Redfoo from LMFAO.
She also beat Candace Cameron Bure, who received 8s from all four judges.
“You corner the market on fun and entertainment,” Goodman cooed. [More]

Porsha Williams got mad as hell and couldn’t take Kenya Moore anymore.
So on tonight’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion show, for the very first time on a reunion show, someone attacked another cast member. There have been threats before (think Lisa Wu Hartwell at Kim Zolciak season one) but this is the first time a woman got down and dirty.
What was the straw that broke Porsha’s ability to control herself? Kenya accusing her of cheating on her now ex-husband Kordell Stewart, then using her megaphone to calling Porsha a “dumb ho.”

Just in time for this Sunday’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta’ reunion show, the Atlanta Police Department served Porsha Williams with an arrest warrant for her attack (captured on film) on Kenya Moore.
Kenya called the police two weeks ago after the fight happened and filed a report.
Tonight, Williams turned herself in, got her mug shot taken and left on a $2,000 bond, according to APD. (Thank you, my fellow AJC staffer Alexis Stevens for making the call.)
She was charged with a misdemeanor battery. I presume a fine is in order and maybe a few hours of community service.

Bravo released a teaser for the upcoming explosive three-part reunion shows for this season’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
The reunion shows often pull in even more numbers than the regular episodes, especially if fireworks have been teased. And there are plenty of fireworks forthcoming. So we might see some record numbers this Sunday.
It appears the Porsha Williams attack on Kenya Moore will air this Sunday, which makes me think the fight happened earlier in the day, not later.
This past Sunday’s rather dull season finale episode drew 3.8 million viewers, about the season average. Bravo smartly packaged it with Nene Leakes‘ typically [More]

NeNe Leakes was “in jeopardy” to go home week five, but the way “Dancing With the Stars” works it, that doesn’t always necessarily mean she was really threatened.
On Monday night’s Disney-themed night, she garnered her first 9′s of the competition, from all four judges (including guest judge Donny Osmond) with a sassy foxtrot. She danced amusingly to “Cruella de Vil.” She also returned to her original dance partner Tony Dovolani after spending a week with Derek Hough.
“You owned that dance floor,” Osmond said. “I never saw anybody work their hips like that.”
“You mean mean mean and nasty girl,” said Bruno [More]

Kandi Burruss made it through her musical A Mother’s Love” without any major hitches.
This made for a not terribly suspenseful season finale since that was the focal plot line for the episode. And NeNe Leakes, who had blood clots in her lungs and landed in a hospital, was barely there.
But Bravo was smart. They included a special one-on-one “Watch What Happens Live” show featuring NeNe for 30 minutes right after the finale. That was far more interesting because NeNe is seldom boring. (See some of her comments below.)

Bravo today renewed its most popular series “Real Housewives of Atlanta” for a seventh season, set to return this fall.
Two spinoffs were announced as well: a third season of Kim Zolciak’s “Don’t Be Tardy” will return this fall. (Zolciak left the show season five.) Also, Bravo will be airing a short-term series about Kandi Burruss and her recent nuptials to Todd Tucker.
The most recent episode of “Real Housewives” this past Sunday drew 3.66 million viewers, its worst performance since Dec. 15. It’s averaging 3.8 million viewers this season, its best yet. The season finale airs Sunday, followed by [More]

On a night with no eliminations but a switch of partners, NeNe Leakes got to have Derek Hough for a week, the man who has won more “Dancing With the Stars” mirror ball trophies than any dancer.
That alone virtually guarantees her safety next week.
It helped she danced an African-tinged jazz routine to Beyonce that was packed with energy and NeNe attitude. Hough said the music came in a little early, which threw them off.
“I didn’t even notice. NeNe is working it. It was you finally killing it,” – Carrie Ann Inaba.
“It suited your personality and was the best dance you’ve [More]
